The gaiety was maximized by an exhibition game of LGU Gigaquit versus LGU Del Carmen of the same province with Del Carmen young Mayor Constantino Navarro IV himself playing on their side. Mayor Bully as he is known among close friends is the son of former Cong. Baby Navarro and grandson of the late political kingpin Oguing Navaro.

The oldies, some with their “healthy” bouncing bellies played so hard that made the crowd stuck to their respective seats and watched the very enjoyable game. Towards the end of the 3rd quarter, the spectators can’t help but laugh upon looking at the players who almost dropped their tongues out and gasping for breath due to lack of practice. This made the spectators burst laughing. Gigaquit had a big lead in the 1st half but as the game came into close, Del Carmen rallied and won.

Closely played, the tournament did foster sportsmanship and friendship as well as enliven the fiesta celebration of Gigaquit.
