The photos below shows the current status of this project.  This endeavor "rehabilitating the Gigaquit Municipal Library" was initiated by Mar Recentes and the Lumad Gigaquitnons Worldwide.  The local government provided the new library building, the computers and also operates and maintains the facility.  The LGW solicited the books and provided the design and some materials for the interior.  The Gigaquit Civic Club is helping to ensure that this will deliver the desired services to the public.
