Review as of Nov. 29, 2013 - Greening Gigaquit : Bgy. Poniente Tree Planting

To see previous history of this Bgy. Poniente Tree Planting by the Gigaquit Civic Club, please click here.

One Year old trees along Poniente Highway.
Photos provided by Mr. Dodong Dedumo and Mr. Alan Enano.

After one year, around 103 Trees survived out of 200 planted.  Many survived the initial planting but many were destroyed during DPWH's clearing activities and some due to people converting several planted areas into vegetable gardens.

From last inspection on May 2013, trees were very slightly down from 130 to 103 trees. Not bad at all.  Please click this to see previous article >> Review as of May 5, 2013 - Greening Gigaquit : Bgy. Poniente Tree Planting
